Chester Barrie was an excellent English tailoring factory that produced handmade classic clothes. The quality was the same as that on Savile Row, but instead of orders, CB sold ready-made clothes. Similar manufacturers today include Brioni and Kiton. Read more about the history of CB: www.keikari.com/blogi/chester-barrie-miltei-unohttedu-vaatettaja/

This is a tweedy jacket made of very strong cloth. Made for the English clothing house Austin Reed and vintage-aged.

Size label 41L, which means long size 51EU. Fits best on a size 50EU, and the sleeves can be shortened if needed.

The fabric is in excellent condition: no holes or scratches or stains. However, the jacket has a storage closet smell, so it needs dry cleaning. The lining has opened on one spot, and can be easily repaired by a seamstress. There is wear on the edge of the lining pocket, which can be repaired. These issues have been taken into account in the price.

This jacket has:

  • a strong shoulder structure
  • flap pockets
  • back vents
  • horn buttons
  • a ticket pocket

The inside of the jacket has a full canvas structure that maintains the shape of the garment and allows sweat to evaporate.

The fabric is 100% thick, strong, slightly rough new wool. A handsome light fabric woven from threads of light brown shades.

A similar jacket cost around 1,400 euros new.

Exact dimensions:

  • from shoulder seam to shoulder seam 47 cm
  • from shoulder seam to sleeve end 67 cm
  • armpit to armpit 55 cm
  • from neck to hem 81 cm
  • waist circumference 108 cm
